playing with your brain

Which way do you see the girl turning? Clockwise? You are using your right brain. Counter-clockwise? You are using your left brain. Most people see her turning a dominant way. Some people can see her go both ways. Try glancing up from reading and see if she has switched directions. Look away from the monitor completely, or close and reopen your eyes.
It 's fun to try it with another person. You can both look at the same time and she is going different ways for each of you!

Wow ! This is soooo cool–each time I blink she changes directions–how come ? These things always boggle my mind …I wonder if the dervishes can do that too if one watches long enough ? :- D
so, if you see her going both ways, does that mean there is harmony between the two hemisphere's …? perhaps, when one is really “enlightened” you see her standing still
:-) neat post
I don't think one could be categorized by this one test, but it is fun. Because processing visual images seems a very right brain activity, I think most people would see her clockwise. That being said, those whose first approach to things is analytical or mental, a very left brain bias, might see her rotating counter-clockwise. I would guess artists such as painters, would probably be more likely to switch back and forth, since analyzing images is part of their creative process which is left and right brain activity.
